My friend encouraged me to attend K. Chen's drawing workshop. Drawing five days a week really made me start to recognize some of the models; after a while you see some of the same faces, which is nice (and she brought Hween candy :) I have a mini-lack-of-sleep-hangover from partying last night after the workshop, realizing that this week I'll be boss-less for four days. I think I got about three hours of sleep, but have the biggest smile across my face right now. Also, I was thinking about it and I love that this is something I can do that makes me happy, for the rest of my life. There are so many things called 'jobs', that after a certain age, you're considered 'too old' to do. This is the best because I can keep going and even if I get arthritis, I can relearn to paint with my toes or my face or something.
