first day of the term!

Yay. First class last night was awesome. Assignment was to do 10 pages of traditional with notes so that you can compare and improve. He is starting us out with that and if people cope or can't cope they'll slowly increase it or make that number a lot more. Hmm..since I usually do twelve to fifteen at least a day...I figure I"ll just post mine on my blog and upload the best or something like that (prob towards the end of next week) on the actual school blog and not freak out my classmates on the second week by showing up with 100 drawings and paintings. lol. So the notes thing is kind of hard sometimes...easy for me because I am analytical in a lot of ways already, but can be difficult because I get distracted and crack jokes (or try to) on the sides of my drawings. Ha. I'm trying to do studies that will be kind of all-rounded but focused. So simple hard-surfaces, soft surface (ie humans...I actually referenced the new characters from Hbit since Mr. Jckson posted some today...they were well lit and well posed (generally) and I will do some face paintings on my own over the weekend and over the next couple of nights. Oh yeah..and I'm the only girl in my class. Go figure.
