I dont even know if this will post

but it's worth scrolling through if it does :) They're ten second long animations. The last is using a color channel from an image and using the brightness to map it onto distance. It created this mesh that looks like some kind of anemone. It can be printed, but I'd have to thicken the mesh and probably do some smoothing. The rest is just fun and games.

  2. LOL no it's Rh!no, my FAVOURITE programme in the WHOLE WORLD!!! Basically, we took an image of a zebra pattern and projected it onto a plane and remapped the values so that the black and white values represented actual distances, with white being a certain height and the black being zero/ no height. Then we thickened the pattern. It kind of does look like a zebra.
Oh, for projection mapping, look at http://vimeo.com/75260457
The company was bought by G00gle after they did this project. It's a bunch of alums from my teacher's school that started the company, so they made a good chunk of change when G00gle bought them :)
    It's called "Box" by B0t & D0lly". Enjoy :)
