St@te Diagram

So this is more of a Logic/ Debugging Diagram more-so than a flow chart. In fact, it's NOT a flow-chart. It's used for figuring out how to start Pr0gramming. I found a neat programme online that is very intuitive and used that to work things out. I wanted to make it neat and presentable, even though he said it was okay if we submitted it via a piece of paper (which I didn't want to do, so I took the time to map mine out and create this diagram). Looks better in a portfolio, in any case, and it is also easier to make updates to (as I still have the original file).

  1. ROAR! The font is too small for me to read it! Makes sense to have it in a digital form rather than scrawled all over 50 sheets of random scrap paper. So you make a blueprint before you code?

  2. Yup. It's taught in C0mputer Science. Or in Electr!cal Eng!neering you do schematics. It's a way of getting ppl to think. In Linguistics you have truth tables, which is pretty much a language form of a similar concept.
Eg you would say Beth is friends with Susie. Susie is friends with Carl. Carl is friends with one girl. You would use the information you had to figure out who is friends with who and make a chart based on that.
In high school we were taught L0g!c Gates, which is similar. NOR, NAND, etc gates.
Apparently that's college physics LOL (I had no idea but high school was freaking hard in our school...a lot of us ended up not doing science related stuff in college (while others did) because of the rigour; My friend who was VERY good at math (we all had to take five to seven years) ended up getting her PhD in Philosophy and is in academia today. Makes me a bit sad because if you could be in that Science class you could pretty much do it (we were the "brightest" class and even got the most scholarships internationally in our year). A lot of it comes back to me because I LOVE Physics.
Yup. Systems make more sense. Right now I want to go far way from those elitist art people as I can, and this is SUCH a relief. I was laughing about how ignorant they are this morning. I had one teacher literally play blues music on my first day of class, like he thought I could "relate" hahaha. I wish I could play a meme here that says "you're a racist!" for people in this town LOL.

  4. Hahah. I've just gotten used to the fact that a LOT of ppl out here are very ignorant and NOT well travelled. I'm SO tired of every first day of class, just being looked at like I will automatically be incompetent or a flop out, like "what is SHE doing here? She must be lost". Then I open my mouth and people go WTF is she? Excuse me @$$holes, I was the TOP of my class. Get it straight LOL. This school I"m going to, though, is a LOT better. I feel like with these classes, you're given more of a fair chance (thus far; I may change my mind). In the other classes, they were SO cliquey, and it was ALL about appearances (oh, she DEF does not LOOK like she can AFFORD a $30 fancy pen!). It's so stupid! LOL you made me laugh :)
